Collection 1: Horsepower - A Collection of galloping horses: Artistic Expressions

Horsepower Collection

In 1996, I painted a galloping horse as a gift for my in-laws’ living room — a symbol of strength, progress, and good 'vastu'*. They lived a full and happy life with that painting as a part of their home. Nearly three decades later, I recreated this vision, not only to honor that legacy but also to spread the same sense of prosperity, vitality, and positive energy to others. This horse carries forward a journey of blessings, strength, and freedom that transcends time.

*Vastu Shastra - Derived from ancient Indian philosophy, Vastu Shastra is often called the “science of dwelling.” Much like Feng Shui, it guides the design and arrangement of spaces to create balance with the natural elements and cosmic energies. In art, objects and symbols aligned with Vastu are believed to carry auspicious energy, bringing harmony, prosperity, and well-being into the spaces they inhabit.

The Horsepower - Galloping Horse Collection is a collection of dynamic paintings - acrylic on canvas (24x30 inches) that captures the unbridled energy and freedom of a horse in full gallop. These paintings symbolizes power, resilience, and forward movement—a timeless metaphor for ambition and freedom. The strategic placement of paintings of galloping horses in living spaces have a very strong symbolic meaning for positive energy in 'Vastu Shashtra*' - the science of dwelling' Please read below for more details about 'vastu' and placement of these galloping horse paintings to bring progress, vitality and prosperity at home.
The sweeping brushstrokes of the mane and tail create a sense of wind and momentum, as though the horse is leaping beyond the canvas itself.
